Accident Brought on by Medical Condition
A Genesis Good Samaritan employee is taken to the hospital after a one car accident.
It happened around 7:15 p.m.
Lieutenant Tony Coury says Brandon Kennedy was attempting to turn out of a Genesis Good Samaritan parking lot when he began suffering from a medical condition. He says the car proceeded to cross Hazel Avenue, bust through two fences, and pass through two Laurel Avenue backyards before coming to a rest.
The Zanesville Fire Department had to break the passenger side window to get Kennedy out of his car. Coury says Kennedy appeared to be incoherent and received minor cuts from the crash. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for evaluation of his medical condition.
The homes at 908 and 914 Laurel Avenue received some damage to their backyards.
