Accident Involving 2 Semi Trucks on US 36

US 36 in Coshocton County is finally open after a crash involving two semi trucks.

It happened around 11:45 a.m. in front of Walmart, near Airport Road.

Deputy Charlie George says both semi trucks were traveling west. He says Hank Williams failed to see slowed traffic ahead and attempted to serve to the left. He proceeded to clip the back left tire of the semi in front of him, driven by Gary Fox. It also caused Williams to overturn the semi, that was carrying coal. That coal spread across both eastbound lanes, forcing the road closure.

Williams was taken to Coshocton Memorial Hospital with what George is calling minor injuries.

George says the driver will be cited with assured cleared distance.
