Accident on Private Property Sends 1 to Hospital

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident that happened on private property shortly after 5 o’clock this evening in Newton Township.

Deputy Scott Hamilton says a woman drove into a lot off Broadvue Circle for an unknown reason. He then says a witness noticed the women driving across the yard, and it ended up slamming into a car parked under a car port at 3135 Maysville Pike along with hitting the car-port’s beams.

Deputy Hamilton says he believes the woman was suffering from a medical condition. She was taken to the hospital for injuries not related to the crash.
