Accident on US 22 Believed to be Alcohol Related
The Ohio State Patrol says an accident this evening on US 22 is believed to have been caused by a drunk driver.
The accident happened just outside of Wal-Mart on Maysville Pike.
According to the State Highway Patrolman Stephen Williams, two cars were traveling west-bound, when a Ford Ranger, rear ended a Ford Explorer and sent the vehicle into an intersection.
Several passengers were taken to Good Samaritan hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.
Williams said that another officer reportedly performed a field sobriety test on the driver of the truck.
No charges have been filed yet on that driver.
