GUERNSEY COUNTY, OH- The Paul Bunyan Show is returning to the Guernsey County Fairgrounds October 3rd through 5th.

Hosted by the Ohio Forestry Association since 1957, the event provides the public with access to the latest technology and education in the forest products industry. Guests can see lumberjack championships, log loader contests, heavy equipment demonstrations, and chainsaw carving.

“There is something for everyone, you can go to our Flapjacks for Lumberjacks Breakfast to start your day and learn more about the Ohio Tree Farm Committee, especially if you have woodlands on your property that you are interested in figuring out how to manage, go to the sessions in the education hall…bring your whole family, we cannot stress enough that this is a family friendly event, but it’s also a place to find wood turners and wood carvers and also take something home with you,” said Ohio Forestry Association Executive Director, Jenna Reese.

The three-day event also offers seminars, camping options and dozens of exhibits with the newest forest industry equipment. All wood processed during the weekend is sold at the popular Sunday auction.

“An opportunity for the public is our wood auction that we always do on Sunday afternoon, that’s going to be at 2 p.m., you can register in our show office, and you can expect to see what has been processed in the show throughout the weekend available at that wood auction,” said Reese.

Tickets are cheaper online in advance at ThePaulBunyanShow.com. Veterans receive free admission on Sunday with their military ID.
