Adams To Rematch Bischoff For National Championship

New Lexington Senior Matt Adams already has an MVL championship as well as a state championship under his belt, but tomorrow will be his biggest battle yet.

Adams will hit the mat in a rematch with Mitch Bischoff, the grappler he beat in this year’s state finals.  Getting to this point was not an easy journey.  Adams had to defeat two Division-1 wrestlers in Christian Rebottaro, Michigan State Recruit, and Gabe Beyer, a Penn State recruit.

“My coach told me I could beat anybody if I put my mind to it, so I just went out there and wrestled my match and didn’t let anybody get in my head,” Adams said. “I was just happy to compete.  I want to make my school proud and try to make New Lex proud and get us on the map.”
