Adamsville Homecoming kicks off with Annual Parade

ADAMSVILLE, Ohio- The long time tradition of the Homecoming parade featured local fire departments, organizations, classic cars, and even a few elected officials.

While the parade is over, the event is just starting with a wide variety of activities on the schedule over the next three days. Thursday evening will feature local dance companies, archery demonstration, and a garden tractor pull. Friday evening features the band Locke 17 as well as an antique tractor pull and Entertainment Coordinator, Bobby Vernon, says the Homecoming will have a special ending for Saturday.

“Saturday at 10 am we start with a farm tractor pull. That’s followed up with a modified tractor pull and then we have Double Cut band in the evening and at dusk we have our ever so popular fireworks. We are told they are some of the best around and then after that we have Double Cut till about 11 o’clock when we raffle off our wagon.”

The raffle wagon will feature half of a beef this year and money raised will go to support the Homecoming next year.
