Adamsville

ADAMSVILLE, Ohio- Locals gathered Saturday, June 10th as part of a nearly century old tradition.

The Adamsville alumni celebrated their 98th banquet at the Adamsville Elementary School. A class of 1959 alum, Sandy James, said the alumni were greeted with a prepared dinner as well as a special service for those who have passed since graduating Adamsville High School.

“We will have a business meeting and then we have a memorial service for anybody that has graduated from Adamsville that’s passed away and then the entertainment.”

The entertainment James referred to is a special talent show by her very own class.

“Were going to start out Jerry Angelo who is a DJ, they call him Jerlee, he is going to sort of introduce us as when our first grade teacher Ms. Cline taught us the ABC song. So we are going to sing the ABC song and this is going to be a Adamsville’s Got Talent show.”

The talent show also featured a comedy act and a special walker dance to the classic tune of Rock Around the Clock.
