ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Community Foundation is offering additional preparation sessions for the ACT test in June.

The foundation holds sessions every Sunday night at the MCCF, but they wanted to add more days and sites throughout Muskingum and Perry County.

Heather Davis, the Director of Educational Services, said they will offer sessions on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s up until the test.

“One would be here at the community foundation, said Davis. The other would be at Crooksville High School with our Gear Up site, which will be open to any student.”

The sessions will be based off the students needs when they arrive at the site. They can focus on test strategy, content area, or specific subjects like math, science, or writing.

“We can also do one-on-one sessions, said Davis. Some students are really focused on preparing for the test, or some have to work on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, and those times don’t fit for them. We can help them set up those appointments and help them get the prep that they need.”

The sessions at MCCF will be in the afternoons on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, and in the mornings in Perry County.
