Adjusting to Daylight Saving Time

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- You may want to head to bed early on Saturday as you’ll be losing an hour of sleep.
Daylight Saving Time returns on Sunday, and while you’ll be losing an hour, you’ll gain an extra hour of daylight. With the time change, many are looking forward to embracing outdoor activities.
“When the clock goes back and forth, I’m excited because the sun is going to stay out later and we get to play outside more,” said Zanesville resident, Emily Kehl.
“I like the fact that the kids are going to be outside and really running and running and running and getting all of that energy wore off or at least some of it. I work twelve hour shifts so when I get home it’s usually I’m wore out and they’re wound for sound so I’m excited for it.,” said Zanesville resident, Mark Kehl.
Clocks will spring forward at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
