Adopt A Child Christmas Program

The Philo High School boys basketball team lended a hand at the Faith United Methodist Church this afternoon. The boys loaded gifts donated by the community for the Muskingum County Children’s Services Adopt A Child Christmas Program. Anne England, chairman of the Muskingum County Children’s Services says this program does an excellent job at making sure the children receive their gifts. "I’ve done this for years and it means the world to me. I’ve bought gifts for other programs, but for our program, we keep the receipts. And, if anything needs to be changed for, in case the size isn’t correct or the toy has a broken part to it or something and anything that needs to be exchanged. The people from children’s services do the exchanging and then that way the entire gift goes to the child and the parents can’t use the money for their own purposes." England says you can donate to the Adopt A Child Christmas Program by donating gifts or by making a money donation.
