Adopt a Pet at Secrest Auditorium

Thinking about getting a four legged friend?

Secrest Auditorium is holding an Animal Adoption day March 27th..
Anyone who is considering adopting, or even learning more about training a dog or cat should stop down from 12PM until 4PM.
We Love Pets is sponsoring this free event and will have vendors set up with various things for animals including different pet seminars.

"Seminars on different subjects like pit bulls myths behavioral probe’s obedience. And also how to team up with an animal you might think this is exactly what I’m looking for but she could help you with different questions on temperament not only for the animal but yourself.Your work schedule to see if it’s going to be a good fit," Secrest Auditorium Manager John Kunkle said.

Kunkle says it’s important that everyone in your household comes to meet the pet before you adopt it. He says rescue groups will be bringing all kinds of k-9’s.

"Rescue groups finds animals of different breeds just mutts and things and just tries to get them into homes usually with foster home and then into an adoptable home. It’s a great way to save animals."

Kunkle says you save a life when you rescue a furry friend from a shelter or kennel. All the animals are up to date on their shots and are fixed.
