Adorable One-Eyed Cat Shines as the Pet of The Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Animal Shelter Society is thrilled to introduce Sparrow as their Pet of The Week.
Sparrow is an irresistibly cute and loving 2-year-old domestic shorthaired cat who is eagerly waiting for her forever home. Though she may only have one eye, her charm and affection are double what you’d expect from the typical feline friend.
“She kind of likes a quiet home. Not so much with a bunch of dogs and chaos. She does have friends in the cat room. She does like some of those kitties.” Animal Shelter Society Executive Director, April Gibson said.
The animal shelter is hosting the “Just Kitten Around” comedy club event at Bryan Place on February 2nd, from 6 to 10 pm. Tickets for this laughter-filled evening are priced at $20 and can be purchased online or directly at the shelter.
“It’s events like that, because we are 100% nonprofit, bringing money in from that event is what permits us to help cats like Sparrow. As an adoptable no kill, knowing that we could save her with surgery, that’s what we do with that. That’s why it’s so important that we have the support that we do.” Gibson said.
