Aeratine “Tina” Chandler-Graves

Aeratina L. “Tina” Chandler- Graves, 46, of Columbus, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, peacefully at her home. She was born June 13, 1978, in Zanesville, the daughter of Garlanda Chandler and father figure Anthony Scaduto.
Tina graduated from Zanesville High School & Mid-East Criminal Justice Program. She also attended Zane State Community ollege. Tina was employed with Franklin County Children’s Services and Columbus City Schools.
Tina was a team mom for the Central Ohio Pirates Football Team and loved to travel. She was the neighborhood mom where all the kids felt at home. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother Gar, Tina is survived by two amazing children, Awnika Graves and Jaylon Graves; Siblings, Kymm Chandler, Allison (Mason) Tiebout-Wiseman, and Aunnie (Frank) Collins; sister-in-law, Brittany Dalton; Godchildren, Xavier Harris and Xandria Harris; Mother & Father In-Law, Marsha & Richard Williams, Sisters-in-law, Jennifer & Michelle Williams; Brothers-in-law, DeJaun Carter & Richard (Alicia) Williams; nieces, Makayla, Te’Miyah, Honey, Delilah, and Hazel; Nephews, Roy, Kaviaughn, Micho, Quincy, Klayton, and Tavion; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Graves who passed February 21, 2025, and her maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Josephine Chandler.
Friends & family can visit 12:00 to 2:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where services will follow at 2:00 PM.
