After Christmas Bargains

The day after Christmas may soon become the new Black Friday.

Bargain hunters swarmed Colony Square Mall in search for after Christmas sales.  While some people came to the mall to return and exchange gifts, others were busy swiping the credit cards and shelling out the cash.

"I got here early. I got here around 9 o’clock then I went to church and came back later. So some great bargains out there," said shopper Kimberley Sayre. 

Shopper Joslyn Richards says she found big sales at Debs, Aeropostale, and American Eagle. This being one of the reasons why she waits until the day after Christmas to shop.

"We always go the day after Christmas because we get our money on Christmas and nothing is open, so we always go the day after," said Richards. 

With the extreme amount of after Christmas bargains, more and more people say this day of shopping has become a new tradition.
