Alberta Norris

Alberta L. Norris, 65 previously from Columbus, went to be with the lord on Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born on August 20, 1958, to Shirley (Burke) and Kenny Norris. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Norris and stepmother, Dorothy Norris.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Heather Davis of Columbus, Brittani Davis of Columbus, Dawn Walker of Toledo, D.J. Walker of Toledo and Donald Walker of Toledo; mother, Shirley Norris of Zanesville; siblings, Kerry (Melba) Norris of Tennessee, Randy (Sherry) Norris of Frazeysburg, Kevin (Debbie) Norris, Rocky (Donna) Norris of Zanesville, Neva Norris of Zanesville, Inger (Dan) Prouty of Heath and Myra Norris of Georgia; grandchildren, DeVontae, Andre, Marcellus, Cassie, Chase and Chelsie; several other nieces and nephews as well as other friends and family.

Alberta was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and California Fashion Design School. She worked as a dressmaker in New York before returning back to Ohio. Alberta loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing puzzles and drawing in her free time. Alberta will be missed by all that knew her.

You may call on the family on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 11am until 1pm at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville Ohio. Funeral services will start at 1pm, following calling hours. Cremation will follow the funeral. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
