Alecia Williams

Alecia A. “Penny” Williams, age 64 of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Ohiohealth Southeastern Medical Center. She was born in Elkins, West Virginia on October 23, 1961, a daughter of the late Bernard James Williams and Cora Ann (Jenkins) Mullinax.
Penny had grew up in West Virginia and spent some time living back and forth in Florida before making Cambridge her home. She had worked as a clerk at Fuel Stop and spent several years as a truck driver. Penny had a fondness for rescuing and fostering cats. She called her home an unofficial sanctuary for cats.
She leaves behind some distant family members and a friend Michael Richardson.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
She was an organ and tissue doner and would have been proud to have known that she is continuing to help others, even after her death. In keeping with Penny’s wishes, she would be happy to see you make memorial donations to a cat rescue facility.
