Alice Faye (Fisher) Tracy, a beacon of love, laughter, and strength, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2026, enveloped by the warmth of her devoted family. Born on April 14, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio, Alice graced this world with her radiant spirit for 82 years, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. The cherished daughter of Foster F. Fisher and Roella D. Wilson Fisher, Alice was raised in a home filled with love and resilience. Preceded in death by her parents, beloved daughter Candy S. (Tracy) Mercer, son-in-law Martin Mercer Sr., granddaughter-in-law Alicia (Swingle) Tracy, sister Martha (Fisher), nieces Sheila & Betty Freeman, and brothers Marshall, Marvin, Bob, John, Joe, and Charlie Fisher, Alice now joins them in eternal rest. Her legacy continues through her daughter Tina Tracy, grandsons Ryan Tracy, David B. Williamson, and Nathan Tracy, and treasured great-grandchildren Taylor (Jason) Harman, Lyica Tracy, Kendric Williamson, Cora & Jace Tracy, and Jordan and Julz Swingle. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her great-great-grandson, Walker Harman. Alice’s heart extended beyond her immediate family, enveloping her sister and best friend, Jeannine (Gary) Bennett, brothers Donnie, Paul (Ginger), Butch, and Mouse Fisher, and countless other family members and friends whom she embraced as her own. Her love knew no boundaries, and she was a mother and grandmother to many throughout the years. A testament to her dedication and industrious nature, Alice retired from O.I. Brockway Glass Company and co-owned Tracy’s Shell and Towing Services. Her work ethic was admired by all, and her commitment was unwavering. As a member of Word of Life Ministries, Alice found joy in serving others and uplifting everyone with her infectious laughter and boundless love. Alice’s life was a vibrant tapestry of travel, cherished moments with family and friends, and a penchant for skill games and television. Her warmth was a balm to anyone in need, offering generous hugs and unwavering encouragement. Her smile, a beacon of light, brightened every room she entered, reflecting her profound love for life and those around her. A celebration of Alice’s remarkable life will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 5, 2026 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage, Ohio with Pastor John Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Union Cemetery. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nurses at Genesis Hospital and hospice care for their compassionate care of Alice, as well as a special thanks to Jessie Pfeiffer and John Sensabaugh for their kindness and support. Special thanks to Gary and Jeannine Bennett. Alice Faye (Fisher) Tracy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. She has gone to heaven to shine as brightly as she did on earth, forever held in the hearts of those she loved.
