All Star Dad’s Day Postponed

Forever Dads has postponed their ‘All Star Dad’s Day’

The event that was originally scheduled for this afternoon will take place on July 18 and although the weather will make you wait, Executive Director Burl Lemon said it will be a day worth while.

“Doug Gates is our activities guy and he’s put together an obstacle course called a ‘Ninja Run’ and we have so many other Y-man volleyball, volley tennis… just so many different things that they’re going to be able to do with their children,” said Lemon.

Forever Dads is an organization dedicated to maintaining the relationship between fathers and their children because they know the impact it has.

“We find that statistically when there’s father absence it really decays and kind of destroys the opportunity for those children to have that balanced growth in their home,” said Lemon.

You can preregister for the event at foreverdads.com. Anyone who registers ahead of time will get in for free and there is a $5.00 charge for those who registers that day.
