Amber Alert Issued for Infant from Newark

 An Amber Alert has been issued for 10-month-old Arianna Fritts of Licking County.

The infant was abducted from her mother’s home in Newark by her non custodial father, Roy Allen Fritts Jr after a physical altercation.  

The suspect is reported to be intoxicated and driving with the child on his lap.  The Licking County Sheriff’s Office lost sight of the vehicle after a brief pursuit on Interstate 70 near Hamilton Road where speeds reached 97 miles per hour.  

The suspect has threatened to take the infant out of state.  

You are asked to be on the lookout for a grey 1994 Jeep Cherokee with Ohio tag 733YGS.  If you have information or see this vehicle, you should contact the police.
