American Legion Hosts Veterans Health Fair

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – There are many services available to veterans that they may not even know about.
The American Legion Post 29 hosted a health fair today that gathered community healthcare and senior living providers who cater their services to our retired armed service members.
“We have about 30 vendors here today sharing the services that we all offer to seniors and veterans in our community. So, all of our community partners are here and we’re so grateful to have such a great turnout for our community,” Certus Healthcare Regional Director of Business Development Jessica Beamer said.
The event featured representatives from established health service providers throughout the region ready to discuss the services they provide veterans on a daily basis.
“It’s so important because… our area has so many wonderful services that we do offer and so we just want to make sure that everyone can hear about them, have access to them and get a great lunch while they’re here getting some great information,” Beamer said.
Beamer added that veterans or their family members who are in need of health service assistance can reach out to her at (740) 610-6295 for a resource guide that can aim them toward the type of support they need.
