American Red Cross Blood Drive to be Held at Secrest Auditorium

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Secrest Auditorium will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday June 17th from 10 AM until 4 PM.
The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donations as hospitals resume surgical procedures, anyone is welcome to donate and the process will be handled as safely as possible.
“It’s open to anyone, first time donors, donors that have been giving blood in the past, it’s going to be very safe, as all Red Cross Blood Drives are. They’ll be checking temperatures of the donors as well as their staff, they’ll also be providing hand sanitizer, they’ll follow social distancing, so it’s going to be very safe to give blood and with the urgent need for blood, I think it’d be a great opportunity for first time donors to take advantage of donating blood.” -Rick Sabine, Manager of Secrest Auditorium.
Making an appointment is recommended however, walk-ins are also allowed.
“Well its easy to make an appointment to give blood, you can go online to RedCrossBlood.org, the promo code is ‘secrest’. You can also call 1-800-RED CROSS to schedule your appointment. I understand walk-ins will be accepted but it will be best to make your appointment that way you’re sure to getting in, in a timely manner.”
All blood donors with a valid email address will receive a $5 Amazon gift card, restrictions do apply and you can find out more at RedCrossBlood.org/Together.
