Animal Shelter Society Helps We Lov Pets Celebrate 26 Years!

ZANESVILLE, OH – We Lov Pets and the Animal Shelter Society are celebrating an anniversary with an adoption special!

Their actual Anniversary will be on October 3rd, but beginning today, Thursday September 24th, all the cats at We Lov Pets as well as at the Animal Shelter Society will be $10.

April Gibson, the Executive Director of the Animal Shelter, says they chose to partner up with We Lov Pets because they have the same goal, to get these animals into loving homes.

“The way they put things together and how they run their stores, so we chose them as our local pet store.” Gibson said. “These are our felines that are here, they do an amazing job for us, we know that the cats are taken care of. The felines enjoy being here, she has great customers that come in, we hear positive things all the time, so we’ve always asked to be a part of their Anniversary sale for the last 4 or 5 years.”

Gibson says that $10 will cover the cat’s alteration surgery, vaccines up to their age, nail trimming, flea and tick treatment, and they’re microchipped.

Miranda Cartwright, the Manager of We Lov Pets, says they’re excited to celebrate 26 years with the community and is thankful the Shelter has been along for the ride.

“I’m super excited to have our celebration, especially having the Shelter here with us.” Cartwright said. “I know I’ve been here for 16 of those years and to just give back to the community with our sale and also help adopt kitties out on that day is super special.”

We Lov Pets will be having a day full of deals from 9AM until 8PM on Saturday, October 3rd and the Animal Shelter Society will also be there to celebrate from 9 until 4.
