Anita J. Stevenson
Anita J. Stevenson, 65 of Rix Mills Road, New Concord, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Anita was born on January 19, 1959, in Coshocton, Ohio. She is the son of the late Harry and Bertha (Voshel) Barr. Anita worked at Chelsa’s Country Kitchen in Cambridge, Ohio as a cook.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Michael (Tiffany) Schmidt of New Concord; her two sisters, Linda (Paul) Pitcock of Byesville and Jane (Bob) Barr of New Concord; her five grandchildren; her one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Barr, Harry Barr, and Johnny Schmidt; as well as her sister, Margaret Mathers.
A Celebration of Life for Anita will be announced at a later date.
