Anna Ardrey

Anna Louise Ardrey, 90, of Nashport, Ohio, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born February 26, 1936, in Harmony, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Oral V. and Bonnie E. (Harner) Jones and a 1954 graduate of Deavertown High School. Anna attended Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster and read her bible diligently. She liked going to the Dresden Senior Center daily to visit and play cards with her friends. Anna enjoyed gardening and completing puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. Anna looked forward to the weekly Thursday night family dinners where she could spend time with those she cared about the most.
Surviving are two sons, Doug Ardrey of Bucyrus and Dan (Julie) Ardrey of Nashport; two granddaughters, Claire Ardrey and Sarah (Robert) Spillman; two sisters, Dora Kessler of Kingswood, Texas and Sharon Bowman of Springfield, Ohio; sister in-law, Hinda Ardrey: a close friend, Margaret Imoff and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Myron J. Ardrey whom she married June 2, 1956, and who died June 21, 1990: two brothers in-law, George Kessler and Dan Bowman and a grandson in-law, Ben Welker.
Family and friends may call 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
A graveside funeral service will follow at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Frazeysburg Cemetery with Father Eric Bowman officiating.
