Anna Mae Emerson (December 12, 1924 – November 16, 2015)

Anna Mae Emerson passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 16, 2015, less than a month before her 91st birthday. She was born December 12, 1924, a daughter of the late Leonard and Evelyn Albarez Daigle.
Anna Mae was raised in Plaquemine, Louisiana, and met Earl when he was stationed in Louisiana in World War II. She and Earl raised their children at various locations in Ohio and were living in Columbus when he died in 1972. After she retired, she moved back to Zanesville where she has been an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a very loved participant at the Senior Center.
She is survived by her four children, Larry, Don, Patricia and Susan (Bob Beasley); seven grandchildren, Ralph Emerson (Renee), Lee Emerson (Lisa), Ty Emerson (Sarah Linnemeyer), Jena Harman, Kent Harris (Kelly), Kevin Harris (Krissy), and Sam Beasley; as well as seven great grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Canova (Leo).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl; brothers, Elliott Daigle, Linwood Daigle and Henry Daigle; sister Mildred Marino; and daughter-in-law Lois Emerson.
