Annual Auction to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters is gearing up for its annual Buckeye Pep Rally and Auction.
The organization will host its 14th annual event on November 21 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Veterans Complex at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds. Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mollie Crooks is looking forward to the event.
"It is a very exciting year because it is the 14th year, but also we have a new venue and we have some new activities that go along with the new venue, so we’re very excited to get things rolling," said Crooks.
All of the money raised from the auction stays locally to help support all of Big Brothers Big Sisters services. Crooks expressed her appreciation for all of the support in their fundraising efforts. She said it helps them accomplish all of their goals.
"The Buckeye Pep Rally and Auction would not be the success that it has been if it wasn’t for the donations of our local businesses and individuals, our media partners," said Crooks. "That part tells me what we do in this community does mean a lot to our community and to our kids and to our partners."
Tickets to the event are $30 for an individual ticket or $250 for a table of eight. You can visit Big Brothers Big Sisters at its office on 7th street in Zanesville. The items pictured on this article are a few of the items available at the auction.
