The Annual Carr Center Golf Outing

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Annual Carr Center Golf Outing took place Friday, September 28th at Jaycees Golf Course.
Over 30 years of this event with the purpose of bringing the community together and helping raise money for their programs. Kim Hosler, Executive Director, said there are people that come out to support them no matter the venue because it is meaningful to the community.
“The Carr Center, we provide a lot of service to the entire age continuum of people in this community. We serve young children with pediatrics speech therapy, children as young as 18 months of age up to our senior program which is for older adults and persons with disabilities and that’s a daytime healthcare program and then everyone in the middle,” Hosler said.
They have programs such as, Adult Day Health Services, Toddler Enrichment Program, Support Groups and many others. Hosler said they want to thank the community for believing in what they do.
“Our fundraisers are always really good for us as well, not only because it financially supports us but it’s just a shot in the arm to just see the faces of the people that are really believing in what you do, believing that you’re relevant to the community that are with us year after year after year and they see us as valuable and they understand that the work that we do is an ongoing something that should be perpetuated,” Hosler said.
