The annual Festival of Trees is finally here

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Wednesday is a very big night in the city of Zanesville. The 25th Annual Festival of Trees is back and better than ever. The highly anticipated event held their preview to showcase the holiday decor of many donors they’ve received.
The festival of trees was held Wednesday night from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the welcome center.
“The chamber of commerce formed in 1905. We’re not unlike other chambers in other communities. Our sole focus is helping businesses to do better. We’re communicators, we share business information, we do business training programs and we have discount programs on workers compensation,” said Chamber President, Dana Matz.
How it works is on Friday, you’re able to call in and place your bid. Whoever makes the highest bid receives their holiday tree, ornament or wreaths, along with a special incentive. The proceeds raised will go to the Zanesville/ Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.
“I encourage everybody to please go to our website zmchamber.com, click on events click on festival of trees, listen live on A.M. 1240 but more importantly come down either to the auction or the preview or both,” said Matz.
The live auction will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m on the A.M. 1240 airwaves. The president of the Zanesville Chamber of Commerce is anticipating another successful turnout this year.
