Another Bomb Threat At Mid-East Career Center

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says he is investigating another bomb threat at the Mid-East Career and Technology Center on Richards Road.

Sheriff Lutz says it is a similar incident to last week’s bomb threat that turned out to be a fake.

Last time a bomb threat occured the school was evacuated and searched and nothing was found. 

At around 11:10 a.m Tuesday authorities did a sweep of the building with K-9 Drako and nothing was found.

Students and staff were allowed back into the building just before 12:00 p.m.
