Another Drug Bust In Perry County

There was another drug bust in Perry County. Sergeant Kevin Starrett says it happened Tuesday at 201 Ewing Street in New Straitsville after deputies executed a search warrant for trafficking of heroin and prescription drugs. Starrett says agents from the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force seized heroin and currency from the property and three males and one female were escorted from the property. Starrett says no names are being released until the case is presented to the Perry County Grand Jury. Over the past two weeks agents have conducted three searches of residences and arrested seven adults inside the New Straitsville corporation limits in connection with the sale and usage of heroin and other illicit drugs.
