Archie Joseph, 87, of Zanesville, passed away at his home on September 6, 2026.
Archie’s distinguished and full life began on July 8th, 1939, in Ravenna, Ohio, the son of the late John and Margaret (Martin) Joseph.

Having joined the Marines at a young age, he proudly served our country aboard the U.S.S. Henrico between the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His military travels took him to many places in the middle of the Pacific Ocean
After serving for four years, Archie would go on to settle in Zanesville, where he would marry the love of his life, Patricia on February 11th, 1976.
Together, they would build a life and raise two sons, Brian A. Joseph, and Brad A. Joseph.

Archie was never afraid of a hard day’s work. He was employed at Burnham for many years where he worked as a machine mechanic until his retirement.
Among Archie’s interests were collecting coins, NASCAR, historical movies, and home improvement. He was always finding ways to update and improve the home, and nothing in the house ever stayed in disrepair for long. He also knew how to enjoy the simple things in life.

Archie is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and John Joseph, His wife Patricia, a brother Herb Joseph and a sister Dora Dobbins.
He is survived by his two sons, Brad and Brian.
