Arsonist Sent Back to Prison
A man responsible for two Zanesville arson’s is heading back to prison.
Tuesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court 20-year-old Andre Covington admitted to violating his community control.
Covington was arrested for setting a fire April 15, 2008 at a motorcycle club on Putnam Avenue, and setting a motorcycle on fire the following day in an alley near Ohio Street and Homewood Avenue.
He was originally sentenced to three years on arson, breaking and entering, and theft charges. Covington was released in March of last year. For the violations he will now be sent back to prison to finish his sentence.
