Artcoz Names Art Loft Gallery the Artist of the Month

ZANESVILLE, OH – ArtCoz is shining a light on four artists this month.

Linda Graham, Susan Stubbins, Susan Nash and Sandy Booth have been creating pieces of art together in their studio, The Art Loft, for the past 7 years.

Booth said that she and Graham have been creating works together for 10 years, while Nash and Stubbins have been working together for 20 years. She said with all of them being named Artists of the Month it’s another reason to celebrate all the years of hard work.

“If you take a look around, there is so much creative energy in this room,” Booth said. “It’s 7 years of, really, a nice little community that we’ve created.”

“It’s always fun to have someone else to bounce ideas off of and inspiring you along the way, and support,” Nash added. “It’s been a great run and we hope to keep it going.”

For the First Friday Artwalk the Art Loft will be having some light refreshments as well as live music from local musicians Roger Touvell  and Paul Mainini.

The ladies have also created some new and interesting pieces that will be on display this Friday.

“There will be artist statements, about explaining our work. Some of it ties back to a show we had earlier in the year at the Museum of Art,” Booth said. “So that’s kind of interesting, if you missed that show, it would be good to come and see the work that we’ve displayed because you’ll see a lot of the same things but also new things that kind of play off of that.”

The Art Loft is located at 26th N 3rd St rear. right next to Amar Indian Restaurant.
