Assault Suspect Arrested

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect in a Newark assault.

The sheriff’s office said on Tuesday, they received information from Newark Police Department about a vehicle driven by a suspect wanted in questioning for a felonious assault.

Coshocton deputies on patrol located the vehicle at the Roscoe Motor Inn in the 400 block of Whitewoman Street.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident with assistance from the sheriff’s office SRT team and the Newark Police Detectives.
