Associated Press HS Basketball Polls

The first 2021-22 Ohio high school boy’s basketball poll will be released on Monday January 3. The girl’s basketball polls will be released on TUESDAY, January 4, throughout the season.

Voting can take place anytime from Thursday night until 3 p.m. Eastern time Mondays for boy’s and Tuesday’s for girl’s , with poll release after sending a first draft to look over prior to publishing.

All AP member newspapers in Ohio are urged to cast ballots to ensure the poll is as representative as possible.

The AP has a Web site for voting in the Ohio prep poll: http://preppolls.associatedpress.com/polls/Ohiopoll/ the web address is slightly different than prior years, so please be sure and use this one and a Chrome browser.

If you have voted in the poll previously, your username and password are the same. If you haven’t voted before, you will need to contact the AP to obtain a username and password.

If you have time, please look through the schools loaded on the website and ensure your schools are in the correct classifications. It also helps if you enter the school’s win loss record when voting. However, please don’t vote until after midnight on Thursdays, as votes prior to that will be sent to an archive file.
