Attempted Robbery at Thornville Pharmacy

The Thornville Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery at the Thornville Pharmacy and the suspect was wearing a superman mask. Chief Darrell Ball says it happened at 8:45 Tuesday morning. He says an individual entered the pharmacy, walked up to the counter and handed a note to the pharmacist asking for prescription medication. A gun was also shown at the scene. The suspect then fled the pharmacy without getting the medication. Ball says the suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet, 230 pounds with a beard wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sweats and the superman mask. The suspect fled in a white Ford minivan with an accomplice. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Chief Ball at 740 246-5511.
