ATV Accident Sends two People to the Hospital

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV accident Sept. 5 on Twp. Rd. 179.

Upon arrival they disovered that the ATV had rolled over.One driver and one passenger were injured in the accident. The driver, 56 year old James Conley, was transported to CCMH and released after being treated for his injuries.

The passenger, 50 year old Jody A. Johnson, was also transported to CCMH and then flown to Grant Medical Hospital in Columnus. Her condition is unknown at this time.

The Sheriff’s Office said that alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.

West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, and Prince’s Wrecker Service all assisted at the scene of the accident.

The incident remains under investigation.
