Balderson: Grant For Cambridge Disabilities Center

State Senator Troy Balderson Wednesday announced that over two-million dollars will be used to upgrade the Cambridge Development Disabilities Center in Guernsey County. Balderson says the long overdue upgrades to the 80-year-old facility will include the installation of new stand-alone heating and air conditioning systems in each of the five residential buildings. He says this investment will enhance the quality of care of Guernsey County residents that rely on services provided at this facility. The Cambridge Developmental Center is an intermediate care facility dedicated to the treatment of individuals with disabilities. The facility has capacity to care for 108 individuals and employs 115 full and part-time staff.
