Barbara Elaine (Greathouse) Moore, 76, of Cambridge, passed away Friday (February 6, 2026) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born August 24, 1949 in Fort Knox KY, daughter of the late Ray Greathouse and Carolyn (Young) Pavlik. Barbara had worked at Ames Plastics for several years until the factory’s closing.

She loved reading and shopping, especially for jewelry, shoes, and purses. Above all else, Barbara cherished spending time with her family and her dog, Wags.

She was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post #2901.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Moore; her stepfather, George Pavlik; her stepmother, Bonnie Greathouse; a son, Thomas “Danny” Moore; and a grandson, Adrian S. Jackson.

Barbara is survived by her children: Misty (& Robin) Masters of Byesville and Stephen (& Heather) Moore of Cambridge; a daughter-in-law, Missy Moore of Cambridge; seven grandchildren: Anthony Jackson, Aaron (& Bri) Jackson, Autumn Jackson (Ray Garrison), Quentin Moore (Alexa Weber), Seth Moore, and Danielle Moore; a step-granddaughter, Courtney Masters; sixteen great-grandchildren; her siblings, David (& Marvetta) Greathouse of Clarksville TN, Thomas (& Melody) Greathouse of Cambridge, Cathy (& John) Davis of Columbus, Traci (& David) Mitchell of Cambridge, and Deborah Cannon of Radcliff KY; and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday (February 21, 2026) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 (1427 E Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge). Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
