Barbara Nicholson

Barbara Ann Nicholson, 79, of Zanesville passed at 8:04 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
She was born on Monday, August 6, 1945, in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Jones and Dorthea Taylor Jones.
Barbara was a member of New Concord United Methodist Church and attended Grace United Methodist Church. She graduated from Zanesville High School class of 1962, she attended MATC after high school. Barb worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for 20+ years, and she retired from QCP after 20+ years. Barb loved her friends and family especially her great grandbabies. Her and Bill enjoyed traveling, sports and NASCAR races.
She is survived by her three, children, Michael Mohler, Michele Browning and Tammy (Dave) Rogers; four grandchildren, Matthew (Tajia Wiseman) Mohler, Makayla Browning, Christin (Brandon) Martin and Lacey West; two great grandchildren, Kian Mohler and Atlas Martin; a brother, Harold “Bob” (Eleanor) Jones; many nieces and nephews; and several very good friends.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband Bill Nicholson, and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Karen Montgomery officiating. Burial will conclude at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, New Concord, Ohio.
