“We’ve invited the Zanesville Day Break Rotary Club to come and celebrate our birthday with us this Thursday. We’re also going to have an open house on May 24th. Everybody in the community is welcome to join us. We will have vendors, lease holders, clients, customers, friends, and family that will be attending our big party on May 24th,†said Shackelford.
John Barnes, Executive Vice President and Owner said that the community has been by their side since day one.
“I think that Barnes Advertising being in this community for 100 years says a lot, not only about Barnes Advertisings integrity and commitment to our clients, but it also says a great deal about the clients and people in the area. I think that its definitely a symbiotic relationship between us and the citizens of Zanesville and the surrounding areas,†said Barnes.
Barnes Advertising has and continues to make a big impact in giving back to the community. In 2013, Barnes donated 535 billboards worth a combined $353,000 in one year to local organizations, including Rotary, Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and the Veteran’s Association, among others.
In part of the yearlong celebration, Barnes Outdoor Advertising is also working on a formal event for this September and some other surprises that will be mentioned at the May 24th open house.
