Barr Pleads Not Guilty In Shootings

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says the suspect charged with shooting two Zanesville men appeared in Common Please Court Monday. 18-year-old Robert Barr pled not guilty to two counts of attempted murder, felonious assault and three counts of aggravated robbery. Judge Mark Fleegle continued Barr’s bond at 2-million dollars. Earlier this month Zanesville Police responded to a shooting incident at 1236 Woodlawn Avenue. Investigators say 19-year-old Lance Loughman and 23-year-old Julian Moore were shot in the kitchen of the home. Police say Barr was arrested without incident at 1019 Findlay Avenue around 3:00 p.m. the next day. Police Chief Kenneth Miller believes the motive was robbery.
