Becky Loucks

Becky J. Loucks, 73, of Zanesville, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House with family at her bedside. Becky was born in Zanesville, Ohio on June 30, 1950, to the late Homer and T. Elizabeth Wharff Bryan.

She was a 1968 graduate of Maysville High School and a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Nursing. Becky worked as a school nurse, case manager, and nurse manager with a strong desire to help others no matter what she did. She was the planner of everything, always up for an adventure, and cherished by so many. Becky loved gardening, shopping, decorating, and eating, but especially loved her family and four grandchildren. In her retirement, she enjoyed jet skiing, trips to Florida, time at the cabin, and walking/biking on the Buckeye Trail with her girlfriends.

She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Loucks, married 50 years; children Bryan (Molly) Loucks and Angie (Matt) Hughes; grandchildren, Kyle, Nate, Abby and Kate; sister-in-law Cathy Loucks; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Mark Ballmer officiating. Entombment will be at the Zanesville Memorial Park afterwards.
