Becky Vansickle will retire from Community Bank after 44 years

FRAZEYSBURG, Ohio – The Community Bank in Frazeysburg will see a new office manager as Becky Vansickle retires after 44 years in banking.
Vansickle will retire in April when she will tend to the family farm and spend more time with her grandkids. Community Bank is hosting an open house retirement party on April 30th from 1 to 5 p.m. as a way of saying thanks for what she has done for the bank and the community at large.
“It’s better sweet, you know to lose someone like Becky but personally, I’m very excited that someone has earned this retirement in her career. She’s done a great job and has a chance to go and enjoy the rest of her life,” said Eric Holsky, president and CEO of Community Bank.
“The banks been awesome. I really appreciate the support that I’m getting. It’s, you know, something we’ve tossed around for a couple of years. When are we going to do this? And it just kind of got to looking at the calendar. I opened this office 17 years ago in April, 65 in April, we have farms so we’ll be in the fields in the end of April into May. So April just seemed like the right day to chose a date,” Vansickle said .
Stepping into the role of office manager is Jillian Gallagher. She’s a Kent State graduate who recently moved to Zanesville from Southern Texas and is ready to help customers and serve the community.
“”Well everyone’s been incredibly welcoming. I’m really looking for a place to grow my roots now and really start my career and I think that Community Bank is going to be a great opportunity to continue growing but also to get to know the community a little bit better,” Gllagher said. “I’m very excited.”
