Becky Sue Yoder, 72, of New Lexington, died in the early morning hours of Friday, December 12, 2025.

She was born on August 5, 1953, in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter to the late, Ilber and Betty (Campbell) Yoder.

She brought light to the world with her infectious happiness and kind spirit. Becky was truly a unique soul whose laughter and warmth lit up any room. She possessed an unwavering positivity that inspired those around her. Never one to harbor ill feelings, she carried an innate ability to uplift others with her genuinely happy nature. Her friends and family will remember her not just for her cheerful demeanor but also for her boundless creativity and passion for life. She was truly a beacon of joy and creativity in the lives of all who knew her. An artist at heart, Becky found joy in making ceramics, pottery, and painting. Her creative spirit overflowed as she poured her love for art into each piece she crafted, often sharing her stunning work with those lucky enough to cross her path. A proud Ohio State fan, she had a special love for baseball and dedicated countless hours to indulging in her various hobbies, including coloring, crafting, and conquering word puzzles. Becky’s art was not merely a reflection of her talent; it was a manifestation of her joy, and she touched many lives by selling her pieces.

Becky is survived by her siblings, Sharron (Ronald) Campbell, Donna (Larry) Meyers and Daniel (Barbara) Yoder as well as several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her niece, Ruth Hummel, her nephew, Rob Nicolia and her great-nephew, Shane Starner.

As we gather to celebrate her life, a graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, 1:00 PM at Iliff Cemetery in Crooksville where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.
