Beebe Named Artcoz Artist of the Month

ZANESVILLE, OH – Jill Beebe has been named the Artcoz Artist of the Month for April.

Beebe said she’s had a passion for painting since she was about 6-years-old when a childhood friend invited her to a painting class. She said she finds joy in making things come alive in her works and that people enjoy viewing her work.

“I have a computer animation background and so a lot of my artwork has a little bit of an illustration quality to it,” Beebe said. “I love to do animals and landscapes, I also love impressionism. That’s kind of my paint style when it comes to landscape art.”

Beebe is also an instructor at Julie’s Artery, where her work will be on display for the First Friday Art Walk. They will have wheel throwing demonstrations, a vendor, and live music.

Beebee said this will also be her first solo show and she couldn’t be more excited.

“This is definitely a door I didn’t expect God to open,” Beebe said. “I’m just really excited to put myself out there, show my artwork, and just be a part of this art community here in Zanesville.”
