Bernard M. Soller, 78, of Philo, passed away surrounded by his family at 12:10 pm at his residence after a long illness.

Bernard was born June 6th , 1932 in Zanesville the son of the late Fred and Mary (Armbrust) Soller. He was worked as a coal miner, a timber cutter and he retired from the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo. He was a member of the Zanesville Eagles #302, Zanesville American Legion Post #29 and he served his country in the U. S. Army.

Bernard is survived by his wife Patsy (Morrison) Soller whom he married April 18, 1958 two sons Bernard Soller Jr of Zanesville and Brian (Kris) Soller of Chandlersville; his two daughters Brenda Luckett of Heath and Belinda (Brian) Williamson of Chandlersville; two sisters Bertha Russel of South Zanesville and Mary Tracey of South Zanesville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 5 step great grand children two former son-in-laws Pat Chambers and Joey Luckett sr and a former daughter-in-law Laura Soller and his special K-9 companion Tinker.

In addition to his parents Bernard is preceded in death by his son Bruce Soller, his brothers Paul, Anthony, Clyde, Gerald, Homer and Floyd Soller and his sister Helena Pletcher.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday November 10th, 2010 at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday, November 11th with pastor Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery, with full military honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058.
