Betsy Jordan

Betsy Jane Jordan, 62, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at Genesis Hospital. She was born January 5, 1964, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to John Kenneth and Nancy Cook Smith. She was a graduate of Clearspring Maryland High School. Betsy enjoyed planting, gardening, cooking, seeking out a great yard sale, watching scary movies and animals; especially chickens and her furbabies Mattie and Turtle.

In addition to her mother, Nancy Smith; she is survived by her fiancé Kevin Schneider; her daughter Shelli (Brian Balkus) Jordan; two brothers: Ken and Steve; six sisters: Deb, Julie, Lisa, Melissa, Tina and Karen; two grandchildren: Sierra and Alex; and four step grandchildren: Tiffany, Matthew, Abi and Tony.

She was preceded in death by her father John Smith; her husband Terry Jordan, who passed away in November of 1992; a sister Tammy; and a brother John.
