Betty Finley

Finley Betty Pic

Betty Catherine (Mallory) Finley, 54, of Cambridge passed away Thursday (December 4, 2025) at the Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born March 27, 1971 in Cambridge, to Betty (Payton) and Edward Mallory.

Betty was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and more. Irreplaceable in every role. But she was much more than just the sum of those things.

Betty was easily the most liked person in any room. She was sunshiny with the world’s best smile. She loved the finer things but was also generous. Sometimes to a fault. She was kind and reliable even when she shouldn’t be. Spoiled by everyone who ever loved her- which was easy to do. She will be missed beyond measure.

Thinking of her in every aimless phone call responding with, “I’m not doing nothing”. Every deal that you just can’t pass up. A beautiful piece of jewelry that catches your eye. And tasty treat.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings; and a grandson, Kieran Corso.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Finley; her daughter, Brittany (Zach) Corso; stepchildren: Zachary Finley and Monica Finley; grandsons: Tucker Monroe, Michael Wyers Jr, Shane Wright, and Grant Corso; sisters: Twila Walker, Edwina West, Virginia Mallory, and Louvenia (James) Merlonghi; a brother, Erwin Mallory; and several nieces and nephews.

I love you mostest, I love you big time, I win.

Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (December 13, 2025) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
